Jazz Journalists Association's Chicago members host a toast for colleagues and supporters, especially welcoming media-oriented visitors to Chicago for International Jazz Day, at Potter's Bar, a speakeasy-style drinking spot in the historic Palmer House hotel, 4 to 6 pm April 29 (prior to the official IJD reception at the nearby Cultural Center).
The JJA Media Meetup on Jazz Day Eve is free, but reservations are required. Business casual.
